Verslag Vinum Nobis Roero Arneis Trinità 2014 oogst
2014 will be remembered as one of the most limited years both in terms of quantity and yield per hectare.
The year can be described as a complex year, only through a lot of hard work in the vineyard we have been able to achieve the high quality objectives. As a result of a cold summer, the grapes underwent a slow ripening that ultimately yielded the right balance between acidity and sugar. The year is mainly characterized by a drastically reduced yield on average 20 to 30% lower than the averages in previous years. Several factors have caused this especially rain in the spring during the flowering period and a relatively cold summer were the main reasons for this.
However, the quality of the must / wine was higher than expected due to the intensive work in the vineyards. The color is beautiful and lively, the aromas are intriguing and wonderfully fresh.
Because of the relatively cold summer the wine is drunk young very fresh and the well-known Roero Arneis minerality is nicely expressed. However, the Vinum Nobis Trinita Arneis 2014 also lends itself perfectly to preservation and will, due to the nice sweet / sour balance, develop into an adult beautiful round wine in the coming years.
